As the Head of the Department, I am honored to lead a team of dedicated faculty members and talented staff who are passionate about shaping the future of the students admitted to this department.
At the Department of Civil Engineering, we emphasize a holistic approach to education that combines rigorous academic training with hands-on learning experiences. Our curriculum is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in fundamental principles while also encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The Department of Civil Engineering commenced its journey in 2010. Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to imparting quality education to undergraduate students. Currently, the department offersspecializations in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Water Resources that are primarily research-basedand anchored by a dissertation at the end of a studentship. Our wide selection of fundamental and advanced courses enables the solid foundation required for cutting-edge work in research, industry, and entrepreneurship.
The department is equipped with approximately a half dozen laboratories that provide extensive research and testing facilities. The faculty comprises eminent specialists from diverse fields, fostering a commendable research ambiance within the department.
